TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm

TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm is widely regarded as one of the most demanding championship courses in the Mid-Atlantic. Nicknamed the “Beast of the Beltway,” the course has earned its reputation through a combination of narrow driving corridors, penal rough, exacting green complexes, and a routing that places a premium on control and decision-making rather than power alone.

TPC Potomac has a championship PGA TOUR pedigree. The course hosted the Quicken Loans National in 2017, won by Kyle Stanley, and again in 2018, won by Francesco Molinari. In 2022 TPC Potomac hosted the Wells Fargo Championship, producing a demanding week of scoring conditions and a victory by Max Homa.

Consistently ranked among the toughest non-major setups on TOUR during its host years, TPC Potomac rewards precision, patience, and endurance. Its championship pedigree and uncompromising test of golf make it a fitting and deliberate choice for The Grind.
