The Grind Invitational is proud to support PGA HOPE as its Official Charity Partner

Golf has the power to heal, connect, and transform — and no program demonstrates that more powerfully than PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere). Through a free,six week curriculum taught by specially trained PGA Professionals, PGA HOPE introduces the game of golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military Service Members to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. The program operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Veterans Affairs, allowing Recreational Therapists to refer Veterans to PGA HOPE as a recognized form of therapy.

In 2024, PGA HOPE served over 17,000 Veterans across more than 550 program locations nationwide — including right here at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm.

At The Grind, we believe the professionals and members who give everything to the game should celebrate alongside those who gave everything to their country. On June 22, 2026, every shot at TPC Potomac carries a purpose beyond the scoreboard.

Ways to Support PGA HOPE at the Grind

  • Become an official Charity Partner of The Grind Invitational and stand alongside the Club Professionals and members who make this event possible. Charity Partners Receive:

    • One Team Entry in The Grind Invitational 2026 (1 Club Professional + 1 Member)

    • Logo and branding featured on all official Grind charity materials, including event signage, the website, digital communications, and charity-related social media content

    • Recognition during the Awards Reception as a Charity Partner of The Grind.

  • Each round at The Grind features optional Charity Skins, giving players the chance to compete for cash while giving back.

    How it Works:

    Firethorn Analytics, proud host of The Grind, seeds each round's skins pot with $500. Players may buy into skins competition for $50 per category, per round, gross and/or net skins are available to all participants.

    When a skin is won, the pot splits 50/50 between the winning player and PGA HOPE. Every birdie, eagle, and clutch par has the potential to support our veterans & put money in your pocket

    Skins are optional and available for both Round 1 and Round 2. Sign up at registration.

  • Want to support PGA HOPE in a way that grows with everay great shot? Pledge a donation amount for each scoring achievement made by the field — or follow a single player you want to back.

    Pledge Rates:

    Birdie =$5

    Eagle =$10

    Albatros= $25

    Hole-in-One=$500
