Eligibility & Verification

The Grind was created to honor and showcase the Club Professionals. Because the Grind is designed specifically for those who serve the game at the club level, participation is subject to defined eligibility standards. The guidelines below outline who qualifies to compete and the verification requirements necessary to confirm entry into the field.

Eligibility

Club Professionals

  • Are actively employed and in good standing at a recognized golf facility or club.

  • Do not hold — and have not held within the past two (2) years — any playing status on a professional golf tour, including but not limited to the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Americas, DP World Tour, or other equivalent professional tours.

Amateur Competitors

  • Are members in good standing of an accredited golf club or facility.

  • Hold a valid USGA Handicap Index .

  • Amateur competitors may be permitted to compete regardless of Handicap Index; however, no amateur competitor shall receive more than eighteen (18) net strokes per round for any competition or scoring format conducted as part of The Grind Invitational.

Verification
